The issues raised by this book still remain current today. It deals very well with the differences between private and maintained schools, and the peculiarities of primary versus secondary school fundraising. It also recognises the role the lottery and other grant giving bodies play within funding education, and is one of the best guides I've read. A good, thorough research-based evidence showing very clearly why and what schools raise money for. We recommend this book as essential reading on our courses at www.fundraisingskills.co.uk
