I have had this type of machine before and replaced an order model with the new "lightweight" one. After reading the reviews I was not sure what to expect. The massager is under 1/3 of the weight of the one it is replacing. I am not sure what some people expect but I can say it is the lightest massager I have had by far!!

I ordered this after my old massager broke, it was a good choice I really recommend it to any one. It is more of a deep tissue massager though as it really gets d to the deeper layers of muscle. I would not use it on the head area at all but for shoulder and back pain it is excellent.

Scholl massager dolphin shape
This dolphin-shaped massager allows you to massage your back very easily. It also has a heat setting. Has a good solid feel to it, without being heavy.

Certainly not 'lightweight'!
