Scholl Flight Socks are soft, have a comfort top and look and feel like normal socks. Why you should wear flight socks: Long periods of inactivity, combined with the cramped conditions and dehydration which can occur on long journeys, can cause a number of circulatory problems, including DVT - blood clots. Scholl flight socks are designed to be worn in place of normal socks throughout your entire journey. Always wear both socks and ensure they are pulled up to just below the knee. Bought cheaper pairs but then discovered the compression factor was much lower. So invested in these. Happily, I'm not in a position to know if I would've developed DVT without them - but, at this price, why take the risk? A bit tough to put on (as flight sox should be) but then wasn't even aware I was wearing them after 14 hrs flying time.

I bought these socks because of the scares of long distance flights and the connection with deep vein thrombosis. I suffer really swollen feet when I travel long distance. On a recent flight to New York, I put on these socks before the flight and took them off after I landed and the swelling was greatly improved compared to other flights, an added bonus!

I don't fly but do suffer swollen ankles and lower legs when it is hot or warm. I also sit a lot at the computer. These socks worked for me and after first wash the tops did loosen enough to be more comfortable.

Comfortable
Bought a Boot own pair and although they work they are not as comfortable as these, these seem to be made of a better material and are more comfortable on long haul flights

Good buy
