At first I was sceptical about purchasing these nail clippers based on earlier reviews but decided to give it a go based on the fact that these were Scholl and at the end of the day, if they did not perform as advertised, they could be returned. What a surprise when I came to use them....They cut sharply and cleanly and the nail clippings fall perfectly into the casing. The only fault I could find which is minor is that the case is supposed to smoothly slide off to empty the nail clippings however mine seems to want a bit of force. The nail clipping fall out anyway if you turn it upside down. Not used these on my toe nails but on my finger nails however can't see it being a problem for my toe nails. Good all round nail clippers and good value, certainly a recommendation from me!

I have used Scholl nail clippers every since I was a kid. This one however has been disappointing. My old one (which is over 10 yrs) feels sharper and cuts better. Why have Scholl introduced a newer design which is inferior than the previous one???

Clippers cut straight across however because of the casing you can't really see your nail as you are cutting it, but you might aswell take the casing off as the clippings just fall out anyway.

Tough nails !!
perfect for a man's nails !! it clips and collects the droppings which before, had to be swept up. Alec is "over the moon" with it !

Not bad, a bit on the big side though.

Great for big tough toenails!
These clippers are HUGE - way too big for my little feet, let alone my fingernails! I imagine they would be great for big, thick toenails though. Read more
