If you don't know about Hairy Maclary then start with HM from Donaldson's Dairy , but if you are already a fan :
We are working through the H.M. books - sampling them at the library before buying.
This story, just about Schnitzel von Krumm, is OK and follows the usual form. However for us it didn't quite match up to our favourite HM stories. May be personal preference though.
Unlikely to buy this one.

good book my daughter likes these books because they are easy to read and also funny as well

Bought this for my 3 year old but my 6 year old remembers it as one of his favourite library books and still enjoys it too. It is as usual full of gentle humour and is probably easy enough for early readers to have a go. Makes a brilliant story to read aloud.

My grandaughter shares her home with a dachound cross so she loved this book, which is well written and superbly illustrated.

Perfect Reading for pre-schooler
I bought this for my grand-daughter who is 3 she loves it , it is so easily read & the rhythm makes it so easy for her.
