I bought this for my nephew for Christmas & it was an instant hit. These are well made models that are durable & with excellent detail & authenticity for their size. I would highly recommend this product for any other dinosaur mad children.

Please avoid this toy...for the price it's too expensive and comes in a cheap pvc wrapper - states the weight is far heavier than it is. Size is not much bigger than a large box of matches...Bought this for a friend's son, but too embarrased to give it to him.

This sturdy little dinosaur has been added to the Schleich animal family my 2 year old daughter has collected over the previous months. It is precisely because it has no moving parts, lights, sounds or gimmicks that it is proving to be such a versatile, hand size toy. It's great for making footprints in playdough, burying and excavating, and washing in the bath. The scope for imaginative play is wide and, with the other Schleich creatures, it has provided literally hours of entertainment. Withstanding all sorts of ill treatment, it is made of tough material - a bonus as far as we are concerned, although with it's weightiness and pointy horns it might be a hazard for some. Obviously I have never seen a living Triceratops, but this has a life like appearance and is a good little model of a dinosaur. We think it's tricera -TOPS!

I purchased this dinosaur for my 2 son's, it was such a hit I had to order another one! It is a very good example of a triceratops and is fantastic value! Hours of fun
