I admit that I'm a fan of this photographer's work, having several of his other volumes including sportscar racing '62-'73, grand prix de monaco, fascination formula 1 and some of the formula 1 in camera volumes. This book is very large and heavy, but this allows pictures the benefit of size to convey the image better than you will be able to appreciate on a computer screen or in some of the other books. I received this yesterday and it took me a good hour and a half just to flick through each page. Images from the the 60's in black and white are fanstastic, as are some taken at Monaco in the wet in '72. Coverage of the late 70s-early 80s seems a little less than other eras and things shift quite quickly into the modern era, but I would undoubtedly recommend this to anyone looking for a large scale coffee table book on formula 1 by one of the sports best, if not the best, photographers.
