I bought this book for the final year of my degree for a Signals and Systems analysis module. I found the book very helpful and full of useful examples and solutions to some common problems. The book covers the subject in reasonable detail but should be used in conjunction with lecture notes and worked tutorials to make any sense. This book does not work well as a quick fix for lack of revision, but can help improve grades and understanding of the subject

This book was really helpful to learn the basics of signals. I suggest everybody to exercise a lot from this.

I got this textbook to help me get through my last year of university in a digital communications module which required understanding of some algebraic formulas. Fortunately this book helped me to pass my module and get my head round some of the mathematical formulas. Aside from the mathematical aspects, the book demonstrates a comprehensive insight into the topic, with inclusion of diagrams and forumulas to show for it and covers a lot of ground from a technical point. However I do not recommend using this book alone as a complete revision guide. It was definately more useful as a referencing point when combined with lecture notes, or when you feel the need to understand a particular subject area further.
