3.0 out of 5 stars Basic Book 25 July 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
A good book with many examples. It is short on concepts, however, it is relevant for someone who wants to self learn this topic. Can be complemented by good corporate finance theory books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple, to the point, with lots of solved problems! 12 Nov 2011
By Jayant Kanitkar - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
From a novice who wants an overview of what Financial Management is all about and what ALL it includes, along with solved problems, this book is a great reference. It is expected for you to know/understand the concepts, without much of visual aids. Because of its simplicity, it is also a good, quick reference desk copy. I plan to use the book at an undergraduate level (third and fourth year) in 2012. I have liked and used Schaum series book for decades.

1.0 out of 5 stars Where are the detailed solutions 19 April 2008
By D. Stovall - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I thought this was going to provide step by step solutions. Being in a master program, this was on the list to purchase. Frankly, it's been a waste of money since it takes additional time to understand this book in addition to my other finance book.

This would probably be a good book if it was being taught to you, but just to pick up and understand?? Unless you are heavy into financial management, Good Luck!

I have purchased Schaum's Outlines since the early 80s when I was in college. I have really foudn every one of them to be useful and this publication is equally enjoyable - adding to my collection of 30+ of these volumes.
