A good book...and one that will help the reader understand. However, a bit numerical and arbitrary at times - could do with a more human touch to the solutions - so that a reader with diminished ability can more easily understand the solutions. Nevertheless, highly useful and beneficial to those who need to improve their knowledge of the subject. The wide ranging questions offer good cover for curve-ball questions in exams- and are applicable to all electricity modules for engineering students in their first and second years.

Bought to help a Cambridge first-year Engineering student who is struggling with her course. Like all Schaum titles it proceeds in easy stages and has a good index. The paper is rather flimsy but adequate. Good value for money.
