DISAPPOINTING 2 Aug 2006
Format:Paperback
Had long awaited the next work from Melissa P having been impressed with her first outing, 100 strokes...

Unfortunetly this, her second offering did not live up to the first. Less graphic and shocking as the first, which isn't surprising after the first, and the nature of this book being more of a life experience tale.

But it is so poorly written. The book wanders of in all directions seemingly at random, trying to be intelligent by connecting subjects that just do not connect, leaving you wondering what interlectual link you are missing.

If you thouroughly enjoyed the first offering and expect something similar here, you won't get what you want. Try something else instead (Insatiable, Valerie Tasso). If you want to see how Melissa P has matured as a writer then go ahead and read this, i just hope you will make more sense of it then i did.

Disappointing 22 Jun 2010

I was very disappointed in this book. I ended up skimming through it, not even reading it properly. I couldn't see anything interesting in it.

Contrary... 24 Dec 2007
By Amykins
Format:Paperback
... to the other reviews on here, I actually really enjoyed the book. I loved that it went nowhere and just had a wonderfully verbose and reflective quality to it. I'm disappointed that the other reviewers don't seem to share my opinion, but each to their own I suppose! I actually haven't read 100 strokes.. so I suppose it must pale in comparison to that. Oh well, I liked it, if you like verbose rambling maybe you will too! xx
