Yeah, it takes you. This is just one of the most superb albums I have heard in at least 10 years.

I love this guy, I really think he is a genius. He's changed my outlook on music. He encompasses everything that I need to be entirely satisfied with music. And live, this is something that has to be experienced. Its just awesome.

Fantastic, can't wait to hear what he does next.

A multi-instrumentalist who can swagger, write, croon, jiggle and sing, with a sense of humour too? Surely not. But yes, this is Stoney. The songs on the album are stylistically diverse and often fiercely inventive. You can hear everyone from Bowie to Suede in his influences, but he has his own voice within that melange. In a heavily over-hyped market Stoney is the real deal. As a debut album it's phenomenonally assured and so satisfying to listen to. Beck you can dance to. Love your ears and buy it.
