I really would have liked to give this book five stars, as I think that Jill McGown is one of the best crime writers when it comes to describing and developing her different characters, but this books simply lacks something. It is hard to say what it is, but it is just not as imaginative as the ones before and I also missed the interaction between Judy, who is about to give birth and mostly stays at home, and Lloyd. If you have never read anything by Jill McGown read one of her earlier books or the book before this one. She really is a brilliant writer, but this book just isn't as good as the other.
