Product Description

Josie’s not a brave person, and she’s especially scared of spiders. Imagine her surprise when she finds herself attracted to not one, but two, larger than life men.

Clint and Brandon both want the timid mouse who’s come to work for them, and their beasts are chafing to mark her, but when she can’t decide between them, there’s only one thing to do--share her.

Before they can convince Josie that a threesome would benefit them all, they need to take care of the menace threatening their chosen mate. And when Josie confronts the bogeyman of her nightmares, she discovers an emotion stronger than fear--love.

I'd be scared of spiders too! 27 May 2011

Plot:
Josie is falling for her two bosses but can't work out what they see in her. As soon as they meet her, Clint and Brandon know they are her mates. But before they can all get to rockin' the bed, they're going to have to deal with some rogue wolves and Josie's nightmare come to life.

Comments:
- A reasonable length book (2047 kindle locations).
- Sex is all m/f/m, not frequent but hot, generous. Aiming for a committed threesome.
- Characters are Shifters (wolf and others).
- Josie is a strong woman, intelligent, but has some ingrained phobias. Her being "larger" is referenced a number of times. The two men are Alpha, into getting their own way, but very loving and nicely protective.

Opinion:
This book satisfies me. It makes me happy. Langlais has written a lovely book which touches on the Fantasy genre, deals well with the Shifter paranormal and gives a very fulfilling romance. When I picked this book up months ago, it convinced me that paranormal menage romance (what a genre!) could be written well, intelligently with interesting characters and enticing storyline. On re-reading it, I still find it A Great Read. Sure, it's light but thoroughly enjoyable. It does come to a slightly abrupt ending, leading me to wonder if there is a series planned (I can't find any indications). Despite that, "Scared of Spiders" is highly recommended.

very satisfying and fun to read 3 Feb 2011

I found Scared of Spiders very satisfying and fun to read. This is a cute sexy story about a woman named Josie who is scared to death of spiders. She is so scarred she carries a can of Raid with her. Josie soon learns a can of Raid won't keep everything away, especially when she has two wolves hot on her heels bidding for her attention.

This is a ménage relationship with a couple of hot scenes, one with double penetration so, yes there is anal. This trio has never met before so; their relationship comes together pretty fast. The only downside I found some may not like the idea of Josie taking the wolf shifter so easily. You won't find much chase or complain about these men being shape-shifters. I myself didn't mind it. I recommend this one to erotic paranormal readers that likes a trio of fun.

OK Read 24 July 2011

I confess, it was the title that got my attention. I was browsing through shifter romances, and "Scared of Spiders" just kind of popped.

It was also the best part of the story.

The female and two male leads were OK, the dialogue was OK, and the sex was, yes, OK. But the second best thing, the heroine's secret, didn't come out until the end and we didn't get to explore it at all. And the villain was so cartoonish - World Domination! For No Reason At All! - that it kind of negated everything else.

I do not reject the possibility of trying something else by this author in the future, but I won't go looking for it.
