Book arrived promptly - very happy.
Book itself is everything I wanted - covers all the main areas in Scandinavia, plus St Petersburg in Russia which is handy as many people visiting Scandinavia also hop over to St. Petersburg. Really good sections on places to sleep, eat and drink etc with several maps for each area.

I must admit there are usually specific things I like to see in travel books. The need to quickly plan when to visit, temperatures in different regions of the country, local customs and habits, in depth and detailed reports on accommodation do's and don'ts and local annoyances. Where do you get these facts quickly and concisely - Lonely Planets Guidebooks. I always carry these books with me when I travel. They are written by people that travel locally - used the transport that you will use and can even provide you with the approximately costs for taxis, food and everything else that goes with traveling overseas. Don't travel with any other book
