***From New York Times and USATODAY Bestselling author, Nicole Williams, SCANDAL IN SEATTLE is the second installment in the GREAT EXPLOITATIONS mini-series***

Revenge isn’t what the Eves are about. Justice is.

But when Sienna Stevens leaves Miami for her Errand in Seattle as Ally Andrews, revenge is the only thing on her mind. A woman scorned is one thing, but Ally is something else altogether. She will not rest until the man who upended her world is brought to his personal and financial knees. She won’t settle for just upending his world in return. She’s going for full-blown annihilation.

Ally’s barely in Seattle a day before complications arise. She begins making slips. She’s one error away from being pulled from the biggest Errand of her career when she comes face to face with Henry Callahan. Former lover. Current Target.

Things just went from complicated to catastrophic.

**This is mini series novella of 22,000 words. Approximately the same length as the first in the series.***

I really enjoyed the second instalment like I did the first. However, over £2 for 62 pages... Really? Very overpriced.

3.0 out of 5 stars About to get interesting! 26 May 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
I gave Scandal in Seattle 3.5 Stars.

“Henry Callahan. Billionaire. IT business mogul. My Ten. My Errand. My ex. The man who’d upended my whole world. The man I was going to repay in turn.”

At the end of book one, Eve discovered her biggest Target to date was none other than her cheating ex-fiancé. Of course, she had to hide this fact from her boss G so that she wasn’t taken off the case, as Eve only had one thing in mind: pure revenge. If her newest client wasn’t enough to worry about Eve also had sleazy Mr Hendrik to deal with. Believing Eve was barely of consensual age, did not deter him and this drove Eve to finishing the job and ensuring he would have his comeuppance.

In this instalment, we got to know Eve a little better as well as finding out some of her history with Henry. She wouldn’t be doing what she does if it wasn’t for how badly things ended with him. Eve is a smart woman who thrives on control; she makes no mistakes and gets the job done every time. It’s not that I’m for or against what she does as a profession but it makes for interesting reading and I’m starting to like Eve as she’s so sure of herself whilst she does her job.

As the story continues, I’m desperate to know more about Eve’s relationship with Henry, and the fact she has kept their past connection secret from G, makes it all the more tense. I am enjoying this series and look forward to the next part. ~Ava

I love Nicole Williams books, however I was a bit apprehensive about reading these books as they were so short. It was a great read and leads on to a novel that I hope Nicole will release soon!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Compelling 23 Sep 2013

You can tell it's going to be one of those reviews already can't you?

OMG this story just blew my mind. The plot twists are sensational, I was completely engrossed the entire time and when I got to the end I was shaking my kindle to give me more (I know wishful thinking).

Little glimpses into Eve's past just add to the intrigue and suspense within the narrative. The irony and sarcasm within the story just added to my admiration of Nicole's writing style. The thing that has cemented my love for Nicole Williams above all else is the way she pointed out the irony within the story via Eve's internal monologues, this made me chuckle away to myself in the wee small hours of the night.

Eve is one of those characters that gets under your skin. Understanding of why she does what she does becomes clear as the story progresses, as well as the reasoning behind her actions. However, you are also able to feel how conflicted she is and the remorse (for want of a better word) she feels for being in this situation.

There are a few jaw dropping surprises that make you question EVERYTHING you've found out so far.

I have a feeling that the story is going to continually surprise me. I cannot wait to find out what happens next. Compelling is an understatement for this series.

There is just something about this series that is crazy addictive and smart that I can never get enough!

Just like the first one, this book was incredibly well written, with an amazing ability to completely suck you in to the story making it feel longer than it actually was. I could feel the story and main character opening up so much more in this book than in the first one, really getting in to the coming story.

In this book we finally learn that the main character's real name is in fact Eve (a little ironic considering her job description). Picking up where MISCHIEF IN MIAMI left off, she is on her way to catch the big fish, the 10 that will make her enough money to finally stop being an Eve. However, things don't go exactly as planned as Eve finds out that the 10 is in fact her cheating ex-fiance Henry and she's not the only one hired to catch him.

Life is change. Or is it, change is life?
For me it's the latter. Change is the essence of my life. It is the origin of my present and the promise of my immediate future.
One day, that's going to change.

As Eve starts to work on getting revenge on Henry through her work, we begin to see a different side to her. Never letting anything get to her before, working with him proves harder than she first thought as although the hatred and pain over what he did pushes her, past memories keep popping up, which made me question how this part of the story will progress and if the pair will end up back together... which would just lead to even more questions!

Henry is completely charming in this book and with that, and through flashbacks you can totally see why Eve was with him in the first place. I can't help but think that because of this she is going to get sucked back in.
