Welcome to the exciting world of Scalextric Digital. This set allows you to race up to four cars at the same time (two cars are provided), performing amazing, realistic overtaking and braking manoeuvres. You can switch lanes at the touch of a button to overtake or block your opponent. This set includes everything you need to get started with Scalextric Digital - it features an extended figure-of-eight oval circuit and comes supplied with two Digital Chip installed cars. Additional digital cars are available or you can easily convert most standard cars to run on digital layouts. Quantum of Solace continues the high octane adventures of James Bond, the World's most famous Secret Agent. This set features a 'Super Resistant' Aston Martin DBS and Alfa Romeo 159 as featured in the film. Four cars can be raced simultaneously using the powerbase provided in the set or upgrade to the Advanced Six Car Digital Powerbase (C7042) for six car races plus a host of additional features. Digital layouts are fully compatible with standard Scalextric track pieces. Please note that the cars do not have working lights.

I am a great fan of James Bond and this set is a very beautiful. The cars are the perfect reproduction from the film. Moreover, the cars have a more resistant body (very useful) for the furious races. For me, it's the perfect gift for every James Bond fans !

This is a really good set.It came really quick at a busy time of year.This set has a much bigger and better track layout than the other digital sets .The digital set is really good being able to change lanes and brake.On this set you can race up to four cars as well.

This is a great toy and my sons were thrilled to get it. First outing, Christmas day, the wing mirrors on the cars snapped off which was a shame. It was being played by 2 boys and not by adults....it being a toy but otherwise the cars are quite tough. The overtaking is brilliant,and allows for proper racing which is far more exciting than just going round and around. The controls are responsive and the cars cool enough to not have to fight over who has which car. This is not quick to set up so now lives in the living room and does take up quite a lot of space but it is played with a lot. It is great having mains run track (we had a cheap racing track set with batteries before). Overall I am glad that we bought this toy.

Excellent product had a slght problem with one of the cars but Amazon sorted it out on Boxing day Much better than the old type scalextric.Thank you Amazon for all your help
