Fully worth it. 7 Jun 2011
The Scala Rider Teamset fitted well to our HJC and Caberg helmets, and after a bit of setting up and getting the ear pieces in the right place, my girlfried and I were off and able to chat to each other along the way. Music is interupted by satnav prompts as are conversations. This is usefull.

Its expensive but you won't regret the cost given the comfort and ease of use.

Great Product 18 July 2011
Brought the Scala Rider Teamset pro just before a recent trip to France. They were easy to attach to helmets and have been great for breaking up the long motorway journeys and with 130km speed limit on motorways in France we could still hear each other very well. Yes the price may seem fairly high but i know friends who have had cheaper versions of intercom but have not been able to hear at speeds over 50mph and batteries not lasted as long. I have been singing the Scala's praises to all our biker friends.

scala rider headset 22 April 2011
By ...
The scala rider is easy to install provided you know how to dismantle your crash helmet. The instructions on installation are a little vague. It took me quite a while to get the speakers in the correct position and found that when I did get them there it was not loud enough to hear over 60mph. I use a Shoei XR1100 with recesses for the ears so I worked out the speakers were too far away to hear properly. I got over this with two pieces of foam cut to fit into the recesses and the speakers mounted on them with a fabric sleeve covering them, (Comfort is a must). This has made the whole system perfect. I have repeatedly had to turn down the volume when someone loud calls me on the phone. The intercom works very well, you have to blow the mike in order to engage the vox setting but thats a minor inconvenience. the sound is very good (a little wind noise but very clear) and the additional lead for the ipod is brilliant. sounds while I ride... some disagree with this but I love it.
