About the Author
Edd Kimber was the winner of the first series of The Great British Bake Off in 2010. His first cookbook, The Boy Who Bakes, was published in September 2011. Edd now runs macaron classes in London, has appeared on Market Kitchen and Perfect... as well as the BBC Good Food Show and other food shows around the country. Edd also blogs to an avid audience at www.theboywhobakes.co.uk.

I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy of this book at the Cake and Bake Show, and saw Edd demo a couple of recipes.
I made the salted caramel truffles when I got back... and they were delicious. They also went down very well with all my co-workers!
As mentioned in other reviews, the recipes unlike in his other book, are organised by occasion, with a variety of recipes that I would love to try!
Next on my list is the Concorde meringue/mousse.
Not every recipe has a photograph, which is disappointing, but some have more in depth tutorial style photos to accompany the recipe, which makes the more complex recipes much easier to get your head round.
All in all, it's a very attractive book, with little pictures and anecdotes spread throughout. Definitely up to the standard of the previous book: The Boy Who Bakes

I received this book for my birthday because I love baking and because two of my most wanted recipes are in this book； the white chocolate rainbow cake and the red velvet cheesecake. Its beauitfully laid out, simple instructions and I cant wait to bake them all. I've recently watched Edd on TGBBO and his baking was practically flawless, the deserved winner. Fantatstic book, fantastic recipes from a fantastic baker
