My daughter LOVES this book. On every page there are beautiful soft touch wild animals that you say "hello" to. It encouraged her to wave at the Monkey and RAAAAH! at the Leopard and SPLISH SPLASH SPLOSH! with the Hippo! Its such a fun book but also great as a bedtime story because at the end you say goodbye to the animals in turn and say night night!

Large paperback format (c 24.5 cm square) with 18 high quality shiny pages, in the popular 2-page spread format.
Superb endearing illustrations throughout, in vibrant colour, from Ed Eaves.
From the back cover:-
'Go wild with Baby Lion as he makes lots of animal friends.
Stroke the soft, furry baby animals on every page, then enjoy shouting out all their noises.
Splash, squirt, squawk - what a lot of noisy fun!'
And it sure was NOISY, at the local library tots' meeting, this morning!
This book was a HUGE hit!
The majority of the text is laid out in rhyming couplet style which further adds to the atmosphere of the 'read-out-loud' scenario.
The quieter guests loved the touchy-feely effect this super book also offers, even on the front cover!

Baby giraffe looks hungry to me.
Licking the leaves that grow on the tree.

My daughter absolutely loves this book - it's interactive and great fun to both read and obviously to listen to. She strokes all the animals and then waits for me to do the noises - the illustrations are beautiful and the story just the right length for her not to loose interest (she's 8,5 months). This has been one of the most popular books so far!

These books are great for first stories. I have a 20 month old and a three year old. The younger one lives these books and we have to have three or four before bed. Read more

great book took it to work for the children i lookafter aged 16 -26 months and they love it a week after reading it every other day one child remembered animals from it

Lovely tactile book for the under 5s
Really nice book with textured animal pictures, rhyming story - it is a firm favourite with my 2 year old (who also loves "say goodnight to the sleepy animals" - from same series).
