Saw this at the cinema, OMG, as the saying goes, almost seamless close-up gore to the max. The batty detective who we learned in 5 was accomplice to Jigsaw is making bigger and bolder traps. The level of brilliance and engineering capability shown is staggering. The initial death scene in the glass cube was very gore-rrific and well executed if you'll pardon the pun. The next multiple trial shows several people, all hooked up to one man and all their lives depend on his ability to peel his own skin off his back, OUCH! I almost wanted him to make it even though he was a scum bag, because the sight of his skin sloughing off was toe-curling. Another scene, a woman in a chair, the main chap, a man who proclaims to have survived a Jigsaw trap, must retrieve the key to her trap. It is on a line down her throat; on the end of the line is a fish hook. Another cringe worthy effort that I struggled a little to look at. I could list them all and I have seen this twice, you know why? They are unique, memorable and mind bending, the level of violence is off the charts.
What a shame this is the last because so many people deserve to face the ultimate trail, although I would totally crap myself if it ever happened to me.
All hail Jigsaw - a man that can, even from beyond the grave!
