Product Description

Titles Comprise:

Saw: With a dead body 'resting' between them, two men (Whannell and Elwes) wake up in the secure lair of a serial killer who's been nicknamed "Jigsaw" by the police because of his unusual calling card.

Given six hours, a hacksaw, and a bullet, the two men try to figure out a way to freedom. Hot on the 'Jigsaw's trail is Detective David Tapp (Glover), an equally insane cop who was once the victim of the Jigsaw's evil scheme

Saw II: Jigsaw (Tobin Bell), the master of mind games, returns to toy with a new set of victims, once again chosen for their perceived lack of respect for life. His traps are crueller and even more mind bending than before. And this time the policeman (Donnie Wahlberg) on the case has more than his professional integrity at stake...

Saw III: Jigsaw has disappeared. Now aided by his new apprentice Amanda (Shawnee Smith), the puppet-master behind the cruel, intricate games that have terrified a community and baffled police has once again eluded capture and vanished. While city detectives scramble to locate him, Dr. Lynn Denlon (Bahar Soomekh) is unaware that she is about to become the latest pawn on his vicious chessboard.

One night, after finishing a shift at her hospital, Lynn is kidnapped by the deranged Amanda and taken to an abandoned warehouse where she meets Jigsaw, aka: John Kramer (Tobin Bell), who's now bedridden and on the verge of death.

Saw IV: Now, upon the news of Detective Kerry's murder, two seasoned FBI profilers, Agent Strahm and Agent Perez, arrive in the terrified community to assist the veteran Detective Hoffman in sifting through Jigsaw's latest grizzly remains and piecing together the puzzle.

However, when SWAT Commander Rigg is abducted and thrust into a game, the last officer untouched by Jigsaw has but ninety minutes to overcome a series of demented traps and save an old friend or face the deadly consequences...

Saw V: SAW V concerns itself with detailing who will carry on with his bloody work. The film opens with a man strapped to a table above a pendulum. As the sharp blade begins swinging over his stomach, he has only a minute to stop it by inserting his hands into a device that will crush them.

Saw VI: The deathly traps and cunning plotting return for this sixth entry in the hugely popular SAW film series. The editor for all of the previous films, Kevin Greutert, makes his directorial debut with this picture, once again written by FEAST writers, Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton. With Special Agent Stahm (Scott Patterson) dead, the sinister Detective Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) has emerged to carry on Jigsaw's murderous work.

Saw 7: The Final Chapter: The most twisted, gruesome and successful horror franchise in the world comes to a close in Saw: The Final Chapter. A deadly battle rages over Jigsaw's brutal legacy as a group of Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) survivors gather to seek the support of self-help guru, and fellow survivor, Bobby Dagen (Sean Patrick Flanery). Soon though, the survivors really must help themselves as Dagen's dark secrets unleash a new wave of terror...

5.0 out of 5 stars The Final Cut 8 Mar 2011
By ADR100
Format:DVD
As a huge SAW fan i this was a must and i am happy to say that i am not dissapointed. The box is well made and designed and contains the 'Extreme Editions' for all films apart from SAW II as well as many, many special features. Also, inside, the discs are well packaged with a nice image of each film next to each disc with a blurb for each one. Finally, a great boxset for a great frachise. 5*****

4.0 out of 5 stars A Good Quality Set 8 Mar 2011
Format:DVD
I've been waiting almost 7 years for an all-inclusive boxset of all the Saw films without any chance of there being another film released the following October. However now the time has come, so I snapped this up. It only arrived this morning, so I haven't put in the discs to check any special features or the quality of the picture/sound or anything yet, but on first glance it's certainly a good boxset.

This particular edition has "Limited Edition" in the corner, but I'm not sure how accurate that is. It may just be because of the Lenticular Sleeve, which isn't that amazing. In any case, the box itself is sturdy and good quality. I reckon it'll take quite some use before it starts showing any signs of wear. Inside, the discs are all contained in a CD book type thing. This is certainly a good thing for me as I hate the boxsets that are just the standard DVDs collected up into one cheap-quality cardboard box. They obviously put a bit of effort in with this boxset.

The films themselves look to be standard affair. 'Saw' is the uncut version, 'Saw II' appears to be the theatrical release, 'Saw III', 'Saw IV' and 'Saw V' are the Extreme Editions, and 'Saw VI' and 'Final Chapter' both appear to be the standard theatrical release. Something some customers may miss from similar-quality boxsets like that of Alien and Lord of the Rings is a lack of booklet. Instead you get a little piece of blurb for each film on the page opposite to the respective disc. I personally don't mind this as I never really paid much attention to those booklets anyway, and most of them were only for blurb anyway.

Something else that must be noted about the boxset is not to force the CD book into it's respective box. It appears to be designed for a simple "slip in and out" effect.

1.0 out of 5 stars Absolute rubbish 31 Mar 2013
Format:DVD|Amazon Verified Purchase
If you like gore fair enough but you have to suspend disbelief to new levels to watch these movies. Victims that never remember that doors always shut and lock behind them .... Seriously?! Bizarre excuses given to victims to suggest that ty can't simply stick an axe through their tormentors head and then use any number of bit and pieces to stop the hammers hitting shotgun shells placed around their neck.... They can't because.... Oh, that's right, thy can but that ruins the story so the victims play along.
It's just unwatchable.
If you want seriously well made gory horror watch tarantino but don't blow your cash on this.
To be honest, if you really want it you can have mine. I've got to half way through the third and all I can think is that's 4 hours of my life I'll never get back!

5.0 out of 5 stars SAW them all, loved them all 18 July 2012
Format:DVD|Amazon Verified Purchase
Before purchasing this boxset, I had only seen Saw 1 and snippets from the rest. Me and my girlfriend watched all of these together and while some of it made us cringe, we loved it. I'll definately re-watch all of them! Brilliant!
