Hi Anyone know how I can retrieve yesterdays Guardian? I had clicked the link "keep"before downloading today's edition, but then found todays replaced yesterday! There were items in G2 I wanted to show my daughter who is starting university.
What device are you using? On my spritely Kindle 3G (the one with a button keyboard, monochrome e-ink display and 3G/wifi connectivity) there's a rolling "save" of the last week's editions under "Periodicals: Back Issues" and if I want to keep an issue, I can manually save it to "Archived Items" by "right-clicking" with the four-way/navigation jog-shuttle and choosing "Keep This Issue" on the menu that appears. For me, directly sharing links to others from my Kindle is impossible, and I've never read anything interesting enough to make it worth me going through the rigmarole of sending it onwards via the Kindle's browser... what I do, if I read an article on my Kindle that I'd like to electronically share with someone else, is switch to my desk or lap-top computer then look for it on the Guardian's website... then forward its web address as a link via "social media" like Facebook, or "cut and paste" it into an email... but generally I find it's more simple to just mention it to them when I next see them and/or have a phone conversation, and let them look it up if they're interested, at their convenience.
