Gregor Gall, Snr Lecturer, Indust. Relations, Stirling University, in the Scottish Socialist Voice, October 1, 2004

Fast-paced, lucid, uplifting, radical, thought-provoking. Mixes Naomi Klein and Michael Moore with Brookmyre and Banks. Fun, warm, deep.

...managed to combine a funny and readable novel with a highly researched analysis of global economics ... deserves a wide audience!

This is a potentially a knock-out blow to the prevalent economic system. Political, yes! Funny, you bet!

This review is from: Saving the World and Being Happy: The Computer Ager (Paperback)
Eric Swanepoel has written a fascinating novel that dips its toes into the underhand tactics of the Corporate Giants, and how their tentacles find their way into most aspects of the World at large.
We follow Nathaniel through life from his schooldays fascination with computers via many trials, tribulations and synchronicities, to finaly see him succeed and have an International celebrity lifestyle, and finally turn his back on this to establish a 'Movement of Hope' that changes the face of World as we know it.
A riveting story filled with hilarious pseudonyms.
A book that will be inspirational and heartening to all that read it.
Highly Recommended!
