Book Description

Multi-awardwinning, Bestselling Romantic Mystery Series

Saving Grace kicks the Katie & Annalise series off with voodoo, laughs, and suspense.

Katie Connell is a high-strung attorney whose sloppy drinking habits and stunted love life collide hilariously during a doomed celebrity case in Dallas. She flees Texas for the Caribbean and escapes professional humiliation, a broken heart, and a wicked Bloody Mary habit, but ends up trading one set of problems for another when she begins to investigate the suspicious deaths of her parents on the island of St. Marcos. She’s bewitched by the voodoo spirit of an abandoned house in the rainforest and discovers that she’s as much a danger to herself as the island’s bad guys are.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pleasant Surprise 11 Aug. 2014
By Caleb
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I had no idea what this was going to be like when I first opened it. To my surprise it grabbed me almost from the first paragraph. I read in bed before going to sleep and found it difficult to shut "Jack" down . Can't wait to get to the next book now. Read this and be swept to an island paradise with twists and turns; laughs and tears and a great ending

1.0 out of 5 stars Thank God it was Free 14 Dec. 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I normally prefer mysteries, murders and thrillers etc but decided to give this book a chance as it had good write ups and was described as a romantic mystery. It is clearly not my cup of tea. After reading the first four chapters listening to someone being really obnoxious and irritating searching, and unsurprisingly, not finding any romance and no signs of any mystery, I am sorry to say I gave up. I am just pleased it was a free download.

4.0 out of 5 stars not as expected 1 Aug. 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
It is an ok book, maybe I am to old to want to read about somebody who is continually getting drunk and then doing something silly. Not enough time was spent on Annalise and the mysterious content. It was good when it got back to the story line, but the bits in between I found annoying. OK for holiday read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Saving Grace 4 Feb. 2015
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
What a good story it tells of Katie a solicitor who drank too much and lusted after a married college. Her parents died on St Marcos and she never thought it was an accident. So Katie took time and went to St Marcos to see what she could find out. While there she made friends and took a walking tour and found a partly built house that seemed to call to her. She decided to buy it pack up from her life as was now and move to St Marcos there she helped solve 3 murders her parents included. She got a boyfriend and worked on her house. By the end of the story Katie had stopped drinking and had a good life. This is well worth buying you will not be disappointed.

An interesting storyline with a few twists and turns a little intrigue. With enough originality to keep interest going and set it apart from other books of its genre. Glad I read it.
