About the Author

Rima Fujita, born in Tokyo, has lived in New York since 1979. She studied at Parsons School of Design and has exhibited her work internationally to much acclaim. In 2001 Rima established Books for Children, an organisation that produces children's books and donates them to orphans and poor children around the world. Rima has received recognition from several Nobel Peace Laureates including the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. She is the author of several books, including Wonder Talk, officially selected as recommended reading by the United Nations and award winning TB Aware.

Great story for children (and adults) with a strong endorsement from the Dalai Lama. It is a magical story of a magical journey of a brother, sister and snow leopard on the back of a crane. Both entertaining and an education in conservation, set in the Himalayan region.
