The book is useful both as a quick reference mid-consult, and as a more leisurely read from cover to cover, providing the reader with an excellent overview of small animal ophthalmology. Great book, well illustrated, easy to read, full of wrinkles and tips! 2 Sep 2010

This is a brilliant book, with a different approach to the usual Ophtho textbook.Easy to pick up and read, very informative and full of little wrinkles and tips. Makes the reading matter very accessible. Worth looking at if doing a certificate, or just interested. Author takes you through common cases and explains her work-up and gives reasons for choices of medication - and explanations of ones to avoid. Lovely pictures and not written to be off-putting or dry . Also contains comparative information. Only downside is no references included. Can't recommend it highly enough. (Also has nursing tips for cases so useful for nurses doing diplomas)
