Well this really is a fantastic collection of the man's best stuff. All the original recordings of all his classics are here. It's just such a shame that the packaging is so 'woolworths bargain bin' style. But dont be put off by that though - the music contained therein is timeless. Find out just where Ray Charles learnt his trade...

There's loads of compilations out there of Mr Jordan's music. A couple are half the price of this one. But to be honest - for sheer quality vs quantity this one is the best. All killer - no filler. As the other reviewer says - don't be put off by the appalling cover art. The music contained therein is the reason we have Ray Charles, a massive influence on Chess records and all the artists than flew from the decks of that seminal label. You'll recognise EVERY track even if you don't know the names. Put it on on a cold Saturday night if you're staying in and feel the warmth of this incredible music. OR if you're going out, turn it up and party! Its perfect summer bbq music too (and the neighbours are more likely to ask you to turn it up than complain!)
