I really like the variety of dishes in this book and just like the TV programme, the various chefs produce very diverse meals. Recipes range from everyday eating to the more flamboyant, posher nosh. This book has so many chefs contributing that I feel it is real value for money, you get a chance to try out some of their creations without buying all their books. James Martin seems to have fallen out of favour with cookery book buyers and I don't know why. Compared to some celebrity chefs I think he is a good, no-gimmicks chef who delivers what he promises in an honest straightforward manner.
