For years I had created traditional metal jewellery models in paper, as preparation for larger works. It was at this point that I realised that I loved working with the malleable, ephemeral nature of paper of the models, much more than the metals which made the final outcomes. This unique use of materials has enabled me to create amazingly innovative, wearable, statement jewellery, precious to each and every wearer.

As well as designing jewellery for my company at www.saloukee.com, I am also passionate about passing on my knowledge on paper in a jewellery context, writing my book enabled the perfect avenue for this. I also lecture and undertake workshops and am happy to hear from anyone who has any further questions on the subject.
