Product Description

One girl dead. One girl missing. Tarnsey is a town torn apart by the brutal murder of a pretty, popular teenager. And it's also the place 17-year-old Anna reluctantly returns to after finishing college.

A visit home she once dreaded soon turns a lot brighter for Anna when she meets handsome young journalist Adam Jacks. Adam shows an interest in Anna which she is quite unused to, and soon she finds herself caught up in her first romance which threatens to alter all her carefully laid plans for the future.

Meanwhile, Tarnsey is rocked by the discovery of another dead teenager. It soon transpires that somebody is hunting down the members of the gang who brutally bullied missing teenager Sarah Dee throughout her teenage years. But is the culprit the odd and intense CJ? Local bad boy Dylan? Or somebody else? Possibly even the mysterious Sarah Dee herself...

As paranoia and fear grips the town, the third member of the gang, Millie, goes into hiding in fear of her life; local police struggle to unravel the mystery; and Anna discovers that the ghosts of the past are always one step ahead.

"I couldn't put it down - compelling."
"Gripping from start to finish."

Sarah Dee Was Here is the latest thriller/mystery novel for young adults from Steven F. Galloway, author of Kindle hit The Lake.

I purchased this book a few hours ago, it's now 1:30am because I couldn't put it down! Very compelling. The story sucks you in straight away and you can't wait to find out what happens in the end. Defiantly worth purchasing. Can't wait to read more from this author

4.0 out of 5 stars Sarah Dee was here. 28 Mar 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
How true this book was about school and the ins and outs of school life. I'm sure each of us have experienced something of this book. The pretty but mean girl with her hangers on who wanted to bask in her glory to the child who was always going to be a victim. I recognised all these elements from my school days in this book some of which I probably am not proud of and others that made me feel a bit sad for the moments when I was the victim of someone's bullying. Glad I've grown up.

This book draws you in straight away. The characters are well fleshed, the author's style really does paint pictures with words and you really do want to know what happens next! A good and quick read and impossible to put down (I actually didn't - I read it in one sitting in 3.5 hours). If you like crime fiction, you will without doubt enjoy this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good story
I liked this story, it was a light read (apart from the murders) but I guessed the identity of the killer fairly early on. It was entertaining.

A good read, captivating, you keep thinking you know who did it only to find you are wrong. The end leaves you wondering although you know who did it.

I really enjoyed the unusual storyline in this novel. Although its target readership was young adults it was still an interesting read for a 60 plus. Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting and a bit creepy..
A good read. Watch out if you have ever bullied a ginger! Small seaside towns don't come off well or teenagers.
