Run all latest games (bettlefied 3, crysis 2 etc) @ maximum settings and really smooth. The card is very very cool either (63°C max) and best of all it's really silent once you settled your favorite fan speed. Despite all reviews I've read this is an excellent card especially if you look to crossfire it in the future. Would I recommend? YES!

My old card the gt9500 played gta IV on all LOW and on smallest resolution. When i installed this card it played GTA IV on all high and full resolution 1600x900 and it was very smooth.
Very quite as well, can even barely hear anything.
I'd recommend it to anyone gamer.

1 more thing. This card wasn't a bottleneck to my cpu which is a intel Dual Core E6700 running at 3.2ghz . That was a great achievement

At £88.00 and free super saver delivery you would have to be missing your glasses to not see this deal purchased 2 of these for the children's PC build.

Great card plays all the latest games on high settings and DX11 too :) simple to install, for the latest drivers go to the AMD web Site:
( [...] ) or you can use the disc that is supplied with the card.

This card is equal to if not better than my Asus HD6770.

It is a large-ish card so ensure you have room in your case.

I normally find AMD to have the best quality to price ratio but in this case AMD have made a big mistake by moving the price bracket of this card up to the same as last years 68xx series cards which is a huge price difference and not one that many gamers will be going to put up with especially when the price for last years 68xx and some 69xx series cards can be bought on amazon for used and new at around the same price point only they offer a huge performance increase over these 77xx series cards. So if you want a graphics card that has all the latest tech and innovations without losing out in your wallet or from performance you should probably take a look at the 68xx and 69xx series cards. Thanks

I recently bought one of these cards, and games wise they are pretty impressive, as I tried a few games and got really good frame rates at Full HD 1080p. Graphically games look terrific, and you can see a difference in the textures as they look even more detailed and crisp. But the 7700 series cards are let down by poor driver support, as so far I've been getting a lot of flickering and jitter when I browse the web, which is really annoying. I don't know if it is a compatibility issue with my system, or a driver issue, but its a real letdown that they can't so far resolve these issues. Afterwards I then put my Radeon HD 6870 card back in, which works perfectly with no jitter and flickering.

So for gaming this is a good card but you may have problems with the drivers on the desktop display. Hopefully in time the driver support will improve, but for now, it maybe a bit early to buy the 7770.

This card plays all my games at 1920x1080 at medium - high with good frame rates. It also runs really cool and quiet and after a few hours of Skyrim the case doesn't get very hot which was a worry as the card was a tight fit for my tiny mATX case.

Much research led me to this card, yes you can still pick up the older 6870 and this newer card won't give you much more gaming wise but it will use less power, give you more multi-monitor configurations and also give you more options in the future (using this card in crossfire with another 7770 gives great results for not much cost).

After physically installing I booted into Ubuntu 12.10 which picked up the new card and worked flawlessly. I then booted into Windows 8 and came across an issue, the fault lies within Windows 8 and not this card.

If, like me, you install this with Windows 8 using HDMI and find that after a 30 seconds or so your screen goes black here is my solution (it may work for you, it may not, I accept no responsibility):

Windows 8 will detect the new card but the drivers it uses do not support HDMI very well, hence the screen going black. The drivers in the box only work up to Windows 7 so I shut down, connected my PC and Monitor via VGA cable then downloaded and installed the latest Windows 8 drivers from [...], then shut down, connect PC and monitor via HDMI and voila! All works well.

Hope this helps.
