Sapphire’s new DP to Single Link DVI adapter is an active solution in a short pigtail format with DP plug to DVI female connector that allows users to connect DVI monitors with resolutions of up to 1920 x 1200. Designed to be used with the DisplayPort output on HD 5000 series cards, the SAPPHIRE Active DisplayPort to DVI Adapter both changes the connector form factor and corrects the electrical signal to be used with a third DVI monitor.

Read a lot of good reviews for this adaptor but also many people saying you need an adaptor with the USB cable to power it. As the next adaptor up was double the price of this one and the rest where all over £100 I went for this one first.
Im running 3 x 27" LG monitors at 1920x1080 (5760x1080) and this adaptor worked perfectly straight out the box, had eyefinity set-up in a few mins and was ready to go. Couldn't recommend the product more.
An important thing to remeber is this is a SINGLE active display port adaptor, so if you intend to use this on a monitor with a bigger resolution then 1920x1200 it wont work.

This cable is the cheap solution to get ati eyefinity (3+ or multiple displays running the same game/program). I was concerned at first when i saw other active converters for £80+ that had usb power, however, this has no USB power connector, it is a fraction of the price and it works fine.
Bought the new ati radeon 6870 which has 2 mini displayports (DP) rather than full sized DP, connected this cable between a DVI cable and the DP/mini-DP cable that came with the card. Works fine, got 3monitors running in no time.

I preordered the cable as soon as it was available in Europe.
My 3-monitor desktop work without any problem. Earlier I couldn't use the Eyefinity, because the active dp-to-dvi cables couldn't sync properly.
I recommend this to all ATI users for Eyefinity graph cards.

Worked straight away with no set-up and has now been working with no problems in my 3 x screen Eyefinity system for a few weeks now. I can most definitely recommend!

Somewhat Unreliable

Mine just broke
It lasted for about 7 months, then mine just stopped working. Might have been a one-off but I cannot recommend as a consequence.
