A fantastic documentary that was first shown in 1961 showing amazing footage through the years of the Black and Tan War, the debate over the Treaty and the ensuing Civil War.
Footage from British monarch George V in Belfast and de Valera (amongst others) in the US and France.
Although the documentary won't tell you much new on Irish(/British) history, some of the footage of the Free State attack on the Four Courts and the footage of the aftermath of many towns and cities burnt down or sacked by British state terrorists has to be seen to be believed.

This is a very interesting documentary on those interested in modern Irish history or, in fact, with any interest in Ireland. Loved it from beginning to end and watch it on a regular basis to improve my knowledge on the Irish struggle for independence.
