The eneloop batteries are fine. The price was good but the charger lets this package down, earning the 3 stars as it does not have any indication of the charged state. This means you have to set a timer or remember to turn it off after the recommended time period. You would also need to measure the charge with a multi-meter to check if they are fully charged. It also runs the risk of overcharging the batteries, which may shorten their useful life. This may be less of a risk as this is a slow charger and requires many hours to recharge the batteries. I just think this runs the risk of them being forgotten and left charging for too long. I am comparing this to another charger I have which has a small LCD display that shows the level of charge of each inserted battery. It also stops charging when the battery is full. It also has a refresh option to drain the battery fully before recharging. The charger that is in this package will do the job but it has limited features in my opinion.

I`m very happy to use this excellent batteries on my sonar for fish and then to charge them with this great Eneloop Charger!!!

The cheapest Eneloop batteries I've found, and it's the newest model. Always check the batteries model before buying, many still sell the old (less powerful) version. Shipping time and packaging were as expected.
