Using eneloop rechargeable batteries really does pay off. Considering the cost of the eneloop battery, compared to a disposable battery, plus cost for the charger and the energy consumed by the charger, the investment for one eneloop returns easily after a few charging cycles. Now there's an end to this spending.

Amazon Verified Purchase
Just want to mention that these Sanyo Eneloop AAA x 4 rechargeables are 800mAh (milli-Ampere-hours) capacity, as there seems to be no mention of it on the product page - as far as I can see, although the AA size are correctly shown in the title as 2000mAh.
(Well - it's an important bit of info about any battery!)
Tried to get Amazon to correct the description, but even though I gave them the link to the Sanyo UK site PDF which shows the info they wouldn't accept it! I'd also just bought a set so could see the capacity written on the side of each battery.
Maybe it's because they're sold by Mertrado rather than Amazon (which sells the AA x 4 pack).
Apart from that, I go along with everyone else's opinions - they're VERY good!

Simply the best rechargeable batteries I have ever used.
Two main positive points:
1. (more important for me) They can sustain high current drains over long periods of time. When it says 800 mAh, it actually means 800 mAh, even at 500 mA draining - it will run until it's flat. (Using its AA cousin, I have a camera that drains so much current and is so finicky about voltage, that it won't run 5 minutes with any other batteries - alkaline batteries can't bear the load, NiMH batteries drop below 1.4 V within seconds because of the load.)
2. It retains charge for weeks as opposed to days with normal NiMH batteries. I regularly used these in low-drain devices for months without problems.
Overall, in most applications I found them to be more lasting than other rechargeable batteries with 2x the nominal capacity.

Ideal for cordless phones
Purchased again on the make and reviews for this make, replaced AAA's in cordless phones and can now talk for more than 20 minutes without the low battery bleep in my ear.
