This system works very well although the stand that is designed for it scratches very easily. The menu system is very easy to navigate but does require care when in manual tune mode.
The remote and the in built software all work simarlar to the rest of the WN series (apart from WN1 and 2) so the system is very easy to use. If you are considering buying one of these try going for a sanyo vcr and dvd as the remote will work all three.
The sound on this system is good although at times has known to be a bit buzzy (This is due to volume being too high and speakers vibrate against cabinet).
The Picture is very good and clear, although the contrast is usually set far too high so remember when installing the product to turn contrast down and play about with other settings to get the desired effect, otherwise your tube on the tv will have a premature ending.
The TV has 3 external sockets (2 scarts on the back and phono connections on the front under the front flap) making it very easy to have SKY, VCR, DVD and games console set up together.
All in all the WN5 whether it be the 24,28 or 32 inch version are good general all rounders. My advise is not to have the stand but to go for a pine stand (pine looks really good with silver) and to buy a Sanyo VCR (VHRH791 has Video Plus or VHRH792 doesnt yet is just as easy to program) and a Sanyo DVD player (best buy DVD SL-20).
