"On New Yer's Day, he made a vow
That he would lose some weight, somehow.
He ate salads, joned a gym,
But found these things were not for him.
Santa, we don't mind your flaws.
They're what make you Santa Claus!" - From the book
Thanks to Santa's Eleven Months Off, we now know what St. Nick does from January through November!
Written by The Simpson's writer Mike Reiss and illustrated by Michael G. Montgomery, this rhyming story takes readers from the hills of Hollywood to a sumo wrestling ring in Japan--the Summer Reindeer Games to a stint as a government super spy...
Whew, that Santa is B-U-S-Y through the year!
A large harcover book with bright illustrations, youngsters (and adults!) will get a huge kick out of this funny book. (Wait until you see Santa's costume for Halloween! My son thought that part was especially hilarious...)
"From December first through Christmas,
Santa Claus got down to business,
Making fifty zillion toys
For the world's good girls and boys.
All that month, he worked his rear off.
Then he took the whole next year off!"
What a riot!
