Sensational Sansa Clip,
By
This review is from: Sandisk 8GB Sansa Clip MP3 Player with Radio - Black (Electronics)
Being a bit of a technophobe (I still haven't explored the full possibilities of my Nokia 3300 - and as for texting.....!)I was looking for an MP3 player that was really REALLY easy to use, with a great storage capacity.
I came across the Sandisk Sansa Clip by accident while doing an internet search for 8Gb SD cards and the looks really struck me. It's just like a Mini-me iPod. In fact it was so iPod-ish it was difficult to judge the size. Googling for reviews, helped there. Without exception they were all very positive and one compared the size to a matchbox - and it's true. It's a very snug fit but it will go into a matchbox! Amazing! What really sold it to me though, was the tiny little screen. Other MP3's around this size don't have one at all and I just couldn't get my head round how you could use them without one. After much procrastination (I really am a technophobe)I took the plunge and ordered two - one for me and one for my wife. I went for Amazon as the price was good and delivery was fantastic. Ordered at 4pm they were in my hands by 11 o'clock the next day! Within 10 minutes (no exaggeration) there were 100 songs on one to give it a try. (Just click and drag existing MP3 tunes from the existing library, it's as easy as that.) It's easy to navigate around using the click wheel and drop down menus and whie doing that the real killer feature was discovered - a graphic equaliser!! Five pre-sets and one custom. I'm using the custom, set up as recommended by someone on the Sansa Clip user forum. Works great and really sharpened up the sound, giving it an extra bit of sparkle. To top all of this it has a built in FM receiver which, to be honest, I haven't really used - but a great bonus feature that I must try out sometime. The only other thing I've 'customised', apart trom the G.E. is the headset. I prefer the small in-ear type. More discrete, more comfortable and exclude a lot of outside noise - but the supplied earphones are absolutely fine. Would I recommend it? Without a shadow of a doubt. In fact I have - and several people at work have bought them after seeing and trying mine. It's a cracking piece of kit, looks the business, is really easy to use, oozes quality and looks sensational. Buy one, you won't be disappointed.

What can i say.....its sexy, sleek, tiny, value for money and light.
This mp3 player is very stylish and practical, well made the only bad thing about it, is you cannot create folders to seperate your albums, however in the player you just search by artist. But overall this is an amazing thing. Best MP3 player i have had.

This review is from: Sandisk 8GB Sansa Clip MP3 Player with Radio - Black (Electronics)
I bought this MP3 player just after Christmas - I had a budget of £30-£35 and thought I wouldn't be able to get 8GB, but did. This MP3 player is superb, the battery life is more than adequate as is the sound through the standard earphones. It is tiny, fits into the palm of your hand and the clip feature is brilliant for the gym.
It looks stylish and seems to be made of a high quality plastic. Nothing flimsy here touch wood. Another good feature - no annoying software to install, simple transfer from Windows Media Player! Radio has good reception as does the microphone. Minus points: You need the 8GB, I have 1500 tracks and it's registering as 'nearly full'. Playlists - There is a function for this called the Go list, but it seems rather basic and I can't figure out how to create my own new one with my chosen name. Maybe I will find out how to do this in the future. FM Radio - As said above good reception, but goes up in odd number intervals beginning at 87.1, 87.3, 87.5 etc meaning I can't listen to radio stations at .2, .4 etc intervals but this is a minor annoyance, hardly awful. ---OVERALL-- Design 9/10 Software 10/10 Menus 8/10 Sound 9/10 Features 8/10 Build Quality 9/10 Battery Life 8/10 Value 10/10 Support 8/10 Speed 9/10 TOTAL 88/100
