Good up to a point......,

...and that point is, when it goes wrong. I purchased mine several months ago. It has only had occasional use but I was as pleased as the majority of reviewers. Ease of operation, decent sound quality and a comprehensively presented package. Unfortunately these attributes do not extend to the aftercare. There is a slick website, with a reasonable amount of FAQs, but the one I wanted wasn't amongst them. That's where the real problems began. My player stopped working, no screen and no response to recharging. An initial request to Support resulted in a reply that failed to understand the nature of the problem, and repeated requests by email (through a very restrictive system) and a 'phone call to a call centre have failed to gain a satisfactory outcome. This is despite sending proof of purchase and personal details. A promised replacement has not arrived.
You should be aware that if your player goes wrong, there is no UK based service agency to help resolve the matter.

1. Better than the ipod shuffle and creative stone on price, sound and functions.
2. Twice the memory of the 1gig shuffle, almost £20 less. 3. Unlike the shuffle, it comes with a fully functioning, easy to use menu, which sorts music by artist, album, genre, popularity etc. 4. Unlike the stone and the shuffle it has a radio, and it is the best reception of any radio I've every had on an mp3 player. 5. Finally, the sound quality is fantastic. 6. Never used the headphones so can't comment.

Not long received my Sandisk MP3 player and i'm very impressed with such a small product. Charging didn't take to long, transferring my music is straight forward (even for a simpleton like me). The product is easy to use with user friend instructions, you can skip through your music with ease. The sound quality is very impressive the head phone are very comfortable and they stay in your ears. I'm very impressed with this mp3 player I do recommend it excellant value for the money. Its a small player but big on sound trust me!
