Excellent 8 April 2006
By Sam VINE™ VOICE
Wow, this player is totally amazing. I have had some Mp3s, but they did not last for long. I decided to buy a new one, and looked around a lot. I found this one on Amazon and decided to get it. And it is totally worth every penny. First of all, it looks so cool, very nice screen, blue color, and it is so light and small you can carry it anywhere you go. It also comes with a protective case which does not come with a lot of other players as default. As far as features and quality are concerned, it surpasses a lot of other more expensive MP3s. For a start, the sound quality is excellent, very clear, loud, and with good earphones, you get a feel of every beat. Menus are very easy to use and navigate through, you cannot delete your songs from the MP3 directly, but i guess this is not a big deal.
The best feature of all, is the expandability of this player, it has an SD card slot, and you can put an SD memory card to add extra songs and files.
The volume scroll is not that great, it could've been better, and the battery cover is not that strong as well. The earphones that come with the player are OK, but the music quality will be much better with another better earphone set.
Battery life is quite good, and you only need one battery and this is another thing in favor of this player. Unlike some other players, you don't have to charge it via USB, all you need is size AAA battery, and you're ready to go.
All in all, very nice player, looks great, impressive sound quality, easy to navigate, it comes with FM radio, upgradable via additional SD card, no need for software to upload songs, lists songs by artist, album, year, etc. I couldn't find a better player for this price, so don't look anymore, get a hold of one of these great players and you won't regret it.

This mp3 player is pretty darn good. It is light weight, easy to handle, and fairly inexpensive ($103 from Amazon). I bought the Sandisk over the Rio and RCA offerings because Sandisk, at least in my research, didn't seem to have the number of complaints about product quality and lack of customer support that the other two brands had. Also, it seems as if getting at least a 512MB flash memory player with an expansion slot is going to cost around $100.
