For those looking to buy this card but may have been worried by some of the previous reviews, have no fear! I ordered 2 of these cards at a total cost of £21.54 (price on 11th Sept 2012) and the cards that arrived were exactly what I ordered - 16GB 45MB/s Class 10 SDHC cards. At only £10.54 a card that is a great price, they even arrived 2 day early!!! Keep it up Amazon!

A few weeks ago I bought myself a new Canon EOS 600d digital slr camera kit. Rather than shop around online for a memory card, I decided to play it safe and bought one from my local branch of Jessops. It was this card which I bought, and Jessops charged me £49.99. Now that I had my new camera I decided to look on Amazon for a book on the 600d, as well as things like a lens hood, UV filter etc. It was during this search that I came across this memory card being sold at this ridiculously low price of just over £10. About one fifth of the price Jessops charged me. I read a few of the reviews which said it wasn't the card pictured, however, as I was ordering a few other items I decided to take a punt and risk my £10. Now that my items have arrived I am happy to report that I received a genuine Sandisk 16Gb SD card, 45Mb/s write speed, Class 10, exactly as shown in the photo. And exactly the same as the one I paid five times as much for in Jessops!! Needless to say, I think I'll be ordering a few more from Amazon at this price. You can never have too many memory cards! To all those who are sceptical, as I was, I say buy with confidence, and save yourself some cash ;-)

I'm a firm believer in not trusting my precious photographs to cheap memory cards having suffered from lost images with budget cards in the past.

I've never been let down by any of my many SanDisk cards (CF, SD and SDHC) and this card is proving to be fast and reliable too.

Used in my Panasonic Lumix TZ7 I can take thousands of shots and plenty of video and have never had any performance or reliability problems.

Performs extremely well, transfers at speed. Using this with my Nikon P500 bridge camera (which I prefer to it's successor the P510). Full HD1080p recordings onto the sdhc card are as near perfect as you will get, far superior to standard sdhc cards with dedicated video camera. NEVER buy generic uknown name cards - they are probably fakes or even worse faulty and you will lose all those irreplacable photos / vids from your foreign hols like I did once!!
SanDisk are without doubt the best sdhc manufacturers in the marketplace, faultless performance over and over again, I have many SanDisk cards and never had a problem with any of them.

I just used it once in my Nikon D3200. Luckily I copied the pictures into external disk before the card stopped working.
When I inserted it in my laptop and camera, it asked me to format the card and when I tried to do so an error occured ' Formatting done incompletely' or something like that. Even the capacity for the card was showing as 30.6 MB. I searched in Google and found that many people had tha same issue and had to buy a new card because there is no way to resolve that. I tried couple of things given on the internet but still it didn't work.I have returned it now.

It used to be when you went on holiday you took 72 or a 100 photos; The easily affordable 16 GB Sandisk Extreme SD card will let me save over 3,000 photos taken Pentax WG-2. You could now shoot a thousand of photos as well as several hours of full High definition video on your holiday - just remember to take the battery charger!. With 16Gb of storage in your camera you might be able to keep your photos on the card and most likely never need to delete them which makes them a really good archiving system too. The Flash in the chip also being robust should keep your photos for a number of years. The card also comes with the Pro version of the sandisk recovery tools which will help you recover any accidentally deleted images on the chip which may come in handy one day.

In past experience Sandisk cards are very reliable and the Extreme series cards are more than fast enough for my camera's high speed shooting modes as well as 3d video shooting on my Fujifilm W3 so it also has a degree of future proof-ness for whatever the camera wizards come up with next. These cards are no so cheap that buying a slower inferior card isn't worth the risk.

The 16GB card that I ordered did not work out of the box and I could not reformat it using a mac or a PC. Because I was trvelling, I missed the 30 day return window and there is no warranty details or way to contact the seller.

I was a little worried after reading the older reviews, but decided to take the risk anyway. The card is exactly as shown on the picture. I`ve tested it and its speed seemed to be really fast - maybe about 30 mb/s on multiple large jpegs. The package comes along with a Rescue Pro serial and an 1 year subscription.
What needs to be improved is the description given by Amazon. It is about Extreme Pro series, which is not the case here. But if you read the info on Sandisk site it will all be fine.
