Choosing the right capacity very much depends on the type of file you want to store. Full HD2 videos, for instance, take up much more room than a simple snapshot. Music files vary in size depending on the format they're saved in. To help you make the right selection, this matrix uses typical file sizes to illustrate how much each capacity is likely to store.
11GB=1,000,000,000 bytes. Actual user storage less.
2Compatible device required. Full HD (1920x1080) video support may vary based on host device, file size, resolution, compression, bit rate, content and other factors.
*Ordinary cards up to 5MB/s write speed. 1MB=1,000,000 bytes.
**Up to 30MB/s read speed. Write speed lower. Based on internal testing; performance may be lower depending on host device. 1 megabyte (MB) = 1 million bytes.
^Approximations: results will vary based on file size, resolution, compression, bit rate, content, host device, pre-loaded files and other factors.
