The SanDisk SD and SDHC memory card is a highly secure stamp-sized flash memory card, which can be used in a variety of digital products: digital music players, cellular phones, handheld PCs, digital cameras, digital video camcorders, smart phones, car navigation systems and electronic books.
To support the higher capacity needs, SD cards are now requiring a different design. The new SD 2.0 specifications - which supports 4GB and up - is called Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC). The SD Association has created and defined 3 speed classes to help you identify speed and performance capabilities/minimum requirements of SDHC cards and their SDHC host products. Got this SD card to use in a new HD camcorder which I also got from amazon, as I was told I would need the space to record in HD. Yes they were right I did need the space, and it is well worth spending a little more if you want the comfort of not having to worry about running out of space. To give you some kind of idea of timings, when recording in full HD it gives me about 4.5hrs. I have put both video and pictures from the card onto my computer and qulity is grrrreat.

I bought this to go with my new Canon 550D. It's absolutely fantastic for taking single photos but it's not able to keep up HD video.
I thought it was my camera to start with as it would only capture 10seconds of video before stopping. A quick google revealed it was the memory. Have bought 32gb 10mb/s card and the camera now works as designed. Recycled the card in a lower spec camera so nothing lost.

I bought a couple of these (at a very good price of £17.99 each) off Amazon the other day. I wasnt sure if I should buy them to start with as they are only class 4, but a bit of research showed that there isnt always that much difference between class 4, class 6 and class 10 - so I opted to try these. Using the h2testw program the writing speed is 5.09 mbyte/s and the read speed is 10.3 mbyte/s. Not the fastest but certainly not the slowest. I have another card (16gb) that is a class 10 device and it writes at 6.32 mbyte/s (so a bit faster) but reads at 5.08 m/bytes (nearly half as slow reading!). The other winning factor when deciding to but it was the brand - i puchased a 32gb card off ebay a couple of days before and it turned out to be a counterfeit card which although showed 32gb in windows was really only 4gb - so after writing more than 4gb it simply started writing over the top of the other data! Again after a bit of research it turns out it is very common on ebay in particular sellers from China (I had bought it from a uk seller) - I am currently in the processes of getting my money back via paypal! So all in all very pleased with this product from Amazon (lets face it they do great delivery and great prices).

Bought for use in video camera. Once formatted (done by video camera), it has space for about five and a half hours of 1080 video. I'm no electronics expert, so I just bought this on recommendation, and I have not found any problems with it at all. It does exactly what it's supposed to. And that's good enough for me.

I used to have an 8GB Memory Card, and badly wanted to upgrade as I create Youtube videos, and the 8GB only usually handles about half an hour of footage? As well as over 900 photos - I placed the Sandisk 32GB card and the memory read at being able to take near 4000 photos... but whenever I tried to record, my Canon EOS 600D would automatically stop after 8seconds of filming...

Bought this SD card for work to use with my Nikon D90. Decent speed though not as good as my own high speed SD cards that I use with my Nikon. I also use to transfer data from my mac at work to other computers at work instead of the usual USB memory stick.
