Even though on the description page it says "Up to 30MB/s sequential read/write speeds", the finer print within the product details says "Speed Rating: 20 MB/s (read) 20 MB/s (write)". Just in case anyone is wondering, this IS NOT the 30 MB/s card.

I have two of them now and use them with my Nikon D90. I can get a lot of video recording out of them and the speeds seem to be able to cope well with the large amount of data recording.

Nice and reliable, good price and the small card reader comes in a small, zip-up, little pouch which is handy! Funnily enough, even though i have two of these, one came with a white usb card reader and the other one was black.

Nice card, price and works well.

Just bought this to complement my Nikon D90.... and I am very happy. Shooting RAW, it is super-fast, copes easily with 4.5 FPS and downloading to my PC is now a dream.

If you really do need a fast card.... trust me, you will not be disappointed.

In case this info is of value to anyone, I found typical write speeds with multiple files to be around 6-9 MB/s, read speeds around 12-16 MB/s.

For example, writing 167 jpegs totalling 579MB took 66 seconds - 8.77MB/s.
Reading them back took 40 seconds - 14.47 MB/s

Larger files are of course faster:

Writing a single 142MB exe took 12 seconds - 11.83 MB/s.
Reading it back took 6 seconds - 23.66 MB/s

That compares well with real-world speeds I've found with other cards, so I'm a happy customer.

I bought this card to complement a new Canon EOS500D camera. Until this card arrived I had 'borrowed' a normal speed SDHC card from another camera. However, the speed difference once this new card arrived was absolutely amazing! No more hesitations as the 15MP images were written to disk - just pure point and shoot. This is how digital photography should be. Highly recommended.

Far more expensive than a normal class 10 card and for good reason. This is designed to have faster read/write speeds for capturing video at 1080p HD and also 4K footage.

It also has more than enough bandwidth to quickly take high quality digital images in RAW format (as well as the usual JPEG, etc). I find the pause between taking shots can be annoying (as it takes the camera longer to write the data to the card) so I've used class 10 cards for sometime.

I tested both camera and 1080p HD with this card and it was flawless - it captured everything without a hitch, skip or a stutter. Sadly I don't have anything to test 4K with, but maybe one day soon! The blurb on the packet states class 3 UHS which should be fast enough but I can't try as yet.

One added benefit of the speed is that transferring the data from the card to a computer is far faster than standard SD cards - handy if you move data regularly.

At 32Gb, the capacity is fine for storing lots of photos or video. I tend to use 16Gb cards as a habit for photos and have never run into capacity issues (and I take a lot of photos!) so this should be fine for most people.

One other thing to mention is that the card is waterproof. Handy if you're clumsy like me and drop things on a regular basis...

For ordinary use or just storage then it's not good value as there are far cheaper cards available with the same capacity. However, if you need speed for high bandwidth such as full HD or 4K (or just to copy images off quickly) then this card is excellent value and SanDisk are always a solid brand (I've used for years and never had an issue).

Highly recommended for speed intensive use.

I picked this SDHC card to go with my Panasonic Lumix FZ45. I wanted a card that could be written to quickly so that I could keep taking pictures without having to wait for the write process to finish (The FZ45 has a reasonably large internal memory anyway, which helps with the write-process). This card has allowed me to do that. I use a slower Sandisk card in my Fujifilm F60 and the write delay is noticeable. I don't use the video capability on the FZ45, but a speedy read/write rate can't hurt.SanDisk Extreme 30MB/sec Secure Digital Card (SDHC) CLASS 10 - 8GB

I bought this card to use in the Canon IXUS 990 IS.

HD Video...The movie clips mare are prefect, no slowness at all.

12 Megapixel Photos...I can take full resolution photos with just a 1 second delay.

Continous Shoot...The continous shoot works great, a few milliseconds delay between each shot.

Transfer to PC...3MB photos transfer blindingly fast, also the 60MB video clips transfer in just a few seconds too.

A definate buy if you have a good camera!

I was looking at ordering this card for my Nikon D60 to increase the number of photo's i could take and hopefully increase the rapid mode. I read all the reviews. Some saying they got the 30mb/s version and others saying they didn't. I decided to take the plunge and placed my order. It came this morning from TradeportUK and it isn't the 30mb/s version. It clearly says on the box 20mb/s.

It has obviously increased my picture capacity because my previous card was 4gb. However the cards are exactly the same speed. Im annoyed that Amazon can advertise the 30mb/s edition if they can't GUARANTEE that is what you are going to get from their external traders.
