I bought this item on the strength of a survey which was carried out in Digital Camera magazine, it was considered as being a best buy option if purchased for less than £15,so for £12.99 it must be a steal.I gave it to my son to use on a holiday in the USA and he was very pleased with the write speed as he used it mostly for Videos, I believe it was a good purchase.

I picked this SDHC card to go with my Panasonic Lumix FZ45. I wanted a card that could be written to quickly so that I could keep taking pictures without having to wait for the write process to finish (The FZ45 has a reasonably large internal memory anyway, which helps with the write-process). This card has allowed me to do that. I use a slower Sandisk card in my Fujifilm F60 and the write delay is noticeable. I don't use the video capability on the FZ45, but a speedy read/write rate can't hurt.SanDisk Extreme 30MB/sec Secure Digital Card (SDHC) CLASS 10 - 8GB

What you actually get is a class 10, 30Mb/s card which is better (faster) than the current (Nov 2011) illustration, although the same as the description. Works well in our Nikon D5100 with HD video and, of course, photos. Seems well made and I have older Sandisk cards that have lasted several years without failing so far. Comes in a 'fuss-free' cardboard envelope inside the usual little clear plastic container, but not really sealed up to any discernible extent - not a problem, but I have got so used to virtually impenetrable packaging that anything else makes me nervous.
