Biography

Australian four-piece San Cisco's self-titled debut album is a teenage riot of love, pain and short attention spans. They've got everything covered, from surfing to mixtapes, friendship to videogames, and it's all there in short, sweet bursts of jangly pop joy. Whether they're singing about having too many thoughts running through their brain (on the fuzzy disco of Wild Things) ... Read more in Amazon's San Cisco Store

That San Cisco hail from a country that experiences over 3000 hours of sunshine every year will perhaps come as no surprise. One listen to their effervescent debut, and it's easy to forget that you live in a country that experiences, on average, about 3*. San Cisco is exactly the kind of sun-soaked indie-pop that washes those disappointments away, infusing you with nostalgia for summer love and teenage heartbreak that proves far more enjoyable than our own, rather more drizzly, reality.

San Sisco. Four young people from Fremantle in Western Australia. The lovely Scarlett Stevens on drums, Jordi Davieson on guitar and lead vocals, Josh Biondillo on guitar and vocals with Nick Garner on bass.

On their way up in the music world, with this first album, definitely worth a purchase. Very well known in their homeland, and rising in Europe and the USA, they are very keen and enthusiastic. If you can get to see them at a venue near you, you will enjoy the experience. Jordi chats easily with the crowd, and the band make themselves available for chatting and signings after the show.

Wonderfully sunny and vibrant. Maybe this will be the soundtrack for my summer of 2014. I'm looking forward to more from these guys.
