4.0 out of 5 stars Ibiza with thrills 22 Aug 2012
By JJ
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is a very good read, it grabs you from the off, and weaves two separate stories into one, bringing together two unlikely partners. I liked both characters and wanted to know how it panned out. Having visited the "White Island" for over 40 years, it rang true to me, from the fortress villas, the hills, the beaches, and the tourists. Living in the North of England, the background story was also real. There was interesting and amusing people observations that made the characters, especially Ana, a well rounded person. I recommend this book as a good holiday read, you will be surprised and satisfied at the end and know a little bit more about Ibiza as a place with intrigue beyond the night clubs.

This is a great read, a thriller in an unusual setting with 2 very different but equally complicated lead characters. I would highly recommend this book

5.0 out of 5 stars Tense and exciting thriller 10 July 2012
By sammy sosa - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Could not put this book down until i finished it. A fast paced thriller with tension building up to the ultimate climax and twist in the story. It's a departure for Forsyth from his recent comic works under the nom de plume, Bob Servant, however this has echoes of his first bestseller based on a true story 'Other People's Money'. Vivid depiction of the characters and the surroundings - highly recommend this book!
