Had this delivered last week - packaging is great, have kept the entire plastic case for future travelling around to keep it in. The player itself is easy to use & very easy to set up - I just connected it, and waited for 'driver install' to complete which took about a minute. I transfer music via windows media player in the sync mode, but you can transfer it using windows explorer directly into it's 'music' folder.
I find the volume levels good & the modes shuffle, exercise etc are quick to figure out after a bit of menu flicking (I never read the set up manual!) However it comes with a small, quick understandable set up manual to get you started on the first bits.
The exercise mode is useful, because now when I go running I have a better understanding of how many calories I've burnt as the player sets it up for you to run for a certain amount of time to burn off a certain amount of calories that you input yourself.
The clip is strong and never falls off my clothing during exercise.
I didn't like the headphones (too big for me) but I have my own anyway. I gave them to someone else and they say they work fine.
The only small problem I've found are the buttons - the square buttons for forward/back volume up/down are quite slight so sometimes I press the wrong one, but it's not a huge problem for me and I've already gotten used to it.
That is the only reason I've given 4/5 stars.
Overall if you're looking for something simple, cheap that works well especially for exercising as I said the clip is great & works well for this purpose. Looking for something with many other features (radio, video clips) & to load many music clips onto it, for far longer usage (5hrs+) I suggest you look for something else.

THis little MP3 player is amazingly good. Very well made, good looking, extremely easy to used, showing all songs detalis, folders etc and is very practical.
It only arrived about 30 minutes ago and already I managed to learn all the functions on it. In fact you wont need any software either. The Windows recognised it like a hard drive when USB cable (included) is connected. Just drag and drop any file you like music docs pictures anything - its fantasticlly easy to create or delete folders.
If you want its own program is on the machine itself and you select it and it automatically loads and and askes you if you want to update the version which you are running. It comes with a quick start but has a comprehensive manual you can download from samsung website.
THe sound is absolutely amazing. I just connected it to a Roland professional amp/speaker and the sound is so rich and clear even at high magnification by big amp!!
It has everything you need sound efects, etc you can even change the speed of the music!
It takes a 3.5mm standard headphone jack for connecting to an amlifier or music set up, or the headphone (included) etc. Almost weightless so no problem carrying it around in your shirts pocket or clipping it to your shirt / pants etc

Yeah, this is a great mp3 player for people on the move. It has a sleek appearance, and is well designed. With the excellent clip, , and long cable, you can safely attach it to any handy pocket, or cuff. The player is easy to use, and the dedicated EQ, makes for a unique listener experience - seems to add atmosphere to a lot of my songs. The headphones are good - better than most for this type of device. The first charge has to be on a PC/laptop, but after that you can use a mains USB plug , which was a relief to me. The display is cleverly organised, so that you can read , and understand everything clearly - one of the best efforts I've seen on a player of this size. You can download the helpful instruction manual from the internet. I've given four and not five stars , due to the things this player, doesn't have : there's no radio , although some regions , ( probably USA ) , do have one. There's no expandable memory, so you can't beef up your storage with a micro card , like you can with so many other players, these days. A voice recorder hasn't been included, which is unusual. So it's been a bit slimmed down in some ways , but it really is a great performer , and Amazon have got this at less than half price , on one of the buying options, at the moment, so now would be a good time to snap , up a bargain. There's a fitness mode included , so If you're looking for a handy little music player , to use in the gym , or when out jogging/cycling/training , etc. , then this could be ideal for you.

Moisture-sensitive, low battery life, sounds OK
