Easy to set up and operate, but I was very disappointed with the Standard Definition(SD) image quality. The eight-year old Sharp 22inch plasma I was replacing has a better picture. The sound is also pretty thin, but that would be acceptable if it wasn't for the poor picture.
That said, the HD image was pretty good, although the default picture settings had too much contract, brightness and colour, to the point that any reflection from shiny black hair was showing up as 'white-out' - not good. I had to tone all these settings down to get a more realistic image. Running my Sky HD box in automatic resolution mode, i.e 1080 interlace, the picture was completely blurred, including the Sky information bars. Once set to permanent 720p, that resolved the issue. I haven't tried the TV with a 1080p signal.
Overall, not the picture quality I had hoped for.
